Smile Design Procedures
Porcelain Veneers
Veneers are a fantastic option for patients looking to correct minor imperfections in their smiles. Imperfections such as discoloration, minor chips or cracks, and small gaps can be corrected with the use of veneers. Veneers can be composed of composite resin or more commonly porcelain, the strongest and most stain resistant type of veneer.
The porcelain veneer procedure is generally done in 2 or more visits. The first visit is generally an initial consultation to map out a full treatment plan with the dentist. Impressions will be taken and sent to the lab for processing. More visits would be needed for prepping the tooth and final placement.
Teeth Whitening
Patients have several options available when it comes to teeth whitening. 'Power whitening' or bleaching can be performed in office for a quick and powerful effect. The patient would need to come in for a visit and initial whitening consultation. Then the whitening procedure would be performed in our OKC dental office. Touch ups could be performed as necessary or at the patient's discretion thereafter.
At-home whitening options are also available. Impressions of the patient's teeth would be taken in office during a consultation or visit. Take home trays would then be manufactured and the patient would be given a safe & effective at home bleaching solution.
Cosmetic Bonding
Tooth bonding and resin can be used in a number of different ways to enhance the appearance of your smile. Bonding is a relatively inexpensive method used to fill in gaps or repair a chipped tooth.
Cosmetic bonding refers to the way in which dental bonding components can be used to reshape a tooth or change the color for a desired aesthetic outcome.
